The US Air Force has suspended SpaceX's rocket project in the Pacific Atoll

On July 4 local time, the US Air Force has suspended the plan proposed by SpaceX to test hypersonic rocket cargo from the Pacific Atoll. The US Air Force spokesperson said that the Air Force is exploring other sites of the project. It is reported that the project will test a reusable rocket landing vehicle, which can transport up to 100 tons of cargo to any place on earth in about 90 minutes. Previously, some biologists and experts said that the project will endanger many seabirds that nest in the Johnston Atoll Wildlife Sanctuary. The US Air Force has said that it will conduct an environmental assessment of the project, but the release of the draft assessment has been delayed due to opposition from environmental groups.
