Nook, a cryptocurrency savings app founded by three former Coinbase engineers, raised $2.50 million in funding from Coinbase Ventures, defy.vc and UDHC. The company declined to disclose the valuation of the round. It is reported that Nook is committed to making it easier for non-cryptocurrency native users to increase their cryptocurrency holdings through services such as Aave, which allows users to lend their cryptocurrency to borrowers in exchange for interest.
