Israeli air strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure

According to Iranian media reports on the 14th, two oil refineries in southern Iran's Bushehr province were hit by Israeli air strikes on the same day, and some facilities exploded and caught fire. The fire is now under control. According to Iran's Tasnim News Agency, one device in the 14th phase of the South Pars Refinery project caught fire after being attacked, and the rest of the devices are still operating normally. Natural gas production in this phase of the project is continuing. Another attack took place at the Fajr Jam Refinery. The report said that the National Gas Company of Iran is further investigating the incident. The Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency quoted officials from the crisis management department of Bushehr province as saying that the fire at the two facilities had been brought under control on the evening of the 14th, and there were no reports of casualties. According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, this is the first time Israel has attacked Iran's energy infrastructure, and it is the first time an Iranian oil refinery has been attacked since the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s.
