CME listed XRP futures first day turnover reached 19 million US dollars
CME Group launched XRP futures on Sunday, its fourth cryptocurrency product after Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana. CME said the first day of nominal trading volume exceeded $19 million. XRP futures offer both micro contracts (2500 XRP) and large contracts (50,000 XRP), both settled in cash and anchored to the CME CF XRP - US dollar reference rate. Solana futures went live in March with a first-day turnover of $12.30 million. Noel Kimmel, president of Hidden Road, which cleared the first XRP futures trade, said: "This is an important milestone for Hidden Road and marks the continued institutional adoption of digital assets."
