The Chinese Coast Guard asked the Philippine ship for confirmation and supervised the whole process. It is hoped that the Philippine side will honor its commitment, meet China halfway, and jointly control the maritime situation. The Chinese Coast Guard will continue to carry out rights protection and law enforcement activities in the Nansha Islands, including Ren'ai Reef, and its adjacent waters in accordance with the law.
