Huang Renxun: All companies need "artificial intelligence factories"
All U.S. companies will eventually need or become artificial intelligence factories, entities that produce both goods and artificial intelligence, and create high-skilled jobs for the U.S. in the process, according to Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang. "Just like we produce physical cars today, or any entity in the future, there will eventually be a digital version," Huang said. "So you need an artificial intelligence factory to create artificial intelligence models that run in cars." An artificial intelligence factory is a concept promoted by Nvidia at past events. It is a facility that receives data and produces intelligence in large quantities. It can also be described as a one-stop shop for chips, software, designs and network infrastructure designed for artificial intelligence. Huang Renxun said that Nvidia benefits from the development of these artificial intelligence factories because the chip giant is the "engine" behind the artificial intelligence infrastructure.
