On April 30, the Kaia Foundation announced in an X post that it had received investment from top crypto venture capital institutions, led by Blockchain Capital and 1kx, and participated in the investment by Galaxy, The Spartan Group, IDG Capital, Mirana Ventures, SNZ Holding, Comma3 Ventures, Caladan, Lingfeng Capital, Waterdrip Capital, and MEXC Ventures. The specific investment institutions have not been disclosed yet. Kaia, formed from the merger of the Klaytn and Finschia blockchains originally developed by Kakao and LINE respectively, has the lowest transaction latency in EVM L1 with a 1 second block time and instant finality, enabling a fluid user experience and opening up possibilities for use cases that require near real-time responses.
